Vapourising E-Liquid
Mostly a formulation made up of PG, VG, nicotine, water & flavourings.
Atomising Unit
This is usually a heater and wicking system (this can be a coil & wick or another technology, such as coil & ceramic material). This draws the E-Liquid from the wick to the heater, generating the vapour. The atomising unit and E-Liquid are generally held within a cartridge, tank or clearomiser.

RECHARGEABLE DEVICES
Small in size and compact, fits in the palm of your hand and are mostly rectangular in shape, uses pod shaped, easy to replace click-in cartridges.
DISPOSABLE DEVICES
Cigarette-like disposable - mimics the appearance of a real cigarette. It comes pre-charged with a certain number of puffs, and once they are used eCigarette is thrown away.
OPEN DEVICES
A modular eCigarette where the eLiquid is poured into a tank and allows users to customize the vapour experience through a range of settings, such as power/output, airflow, resistance, temperature, and may have a digital display.

Cig-a Like
An electronic cigarette that closely resembles a cigarette.
Electronic Cigarette
An e-cigarette (made up of battery & clearomiser) where an atomiser vapourises a liquid solution & is then inhaled as vapour.
Atomiser (Coil)
The atomiser is the heating element that is attached to the clearomiser there are many shapes & sizes.
Drip Tips
The mouth piece.
Clearomiser
A combined cartridge & atomiser (coil) which heats e-Liquid to create vapour.
e-Liquid
The solution that is poured into the tank, comprised of (VG) vegetable glycerine, (PG) propylene glycol and/or nicotine & flavouring.
Mouth to Lung
Vapour is inhaled into the mouth and held before being drawn to the lungs.
Mod
Short for modification commonly used to refer to any electronic cigarette that isn't a cig-a-like.
Direct to Lung
Vapour is inhaled straight to lung.
Dry Hit
When an atomiser (coil) gives a burnt taste when too little juice is on the atomiser (coil).
Priming
Soaking a new atomiser (coil) with e-Liquid prior to use, to prevent the coil burning out.
e-Fills / Refills
All in one disposable clearomisers that don't need filling manually.
Dripping
Where e-Liquid is dripped directly onto the atomiser (coil) usually using a custom build mod.
Sub-Ohm
Vaping with a resistance set below 1.0 - which allows vaping on a stronger power.
Ego/510 Pin Connection
Is the connection between the clearomiser & battery.
Wattage
A measure of units of power directed to heat the coil.
Ohms (Resistance)
The standard unit of electrical resistance a number lower than 1 indicates lower resistance & therefore faster heating.
